Qual Seal Pouch

Generally, quad-seal pouches consist of two vertical panels, two gussets, and four vertical seals. They commonly hold pet food, coffee, sweets, and snacks.

The difference between a quad-seal pouch and a flat bottom pouch is that a quad-seal pouch has a fold-over seal, which means the bottom isn’t perfectly flat. Quad seal pouches are stable when filled with product. However, as the pouch is consumed, the bottom becomes less stable. To ensure stability, quad-seal pouches are often designed to lay flat for heavy products like pet food.

The main difference between quad seal pouches compared to other types of pouches on the market is their construction and the features they offer. For example, a quad-seal pouch offers better standing stability and presentation than a regular flat pouch; it may offer a larger print area and a more robust construction than a zip-lock pouch.
